시퀀스에 의한 어린왕자 테마파크

‘우리는 모두 한때는 어린아이였다. 하지만 대부분 그 사실을 기억하지 못한다 ’

어린왕자 테마파크는 위의 문장을 프롤로그로 시작되는 생텍쥐페리의 동화 어린왕자에서 모티브를 얻어 조성되었다. 본 테마파크에서 시퀀스의 번호에 따라 어린왕자의 여정을 따라가보면 소행성 B612 를 떠나 지구별로 여행을 온 어린왕자가 사막에 불시착한 비행사를 만나고, 여우와 친구가 되는 과정에서 관계의 소중함과 삶의 숨은 지혜를 깨달아가며 어른으로 성장하는 과정을 만날 수 있다. 자신의 별에 두고 온 하나 뿐인 장미에 대한 소중함을 깨닫고 성인이 되어 다시 자신이 살던 별로 떠나는 장면까지, 어린왕자의 여행의 중요한 순간을 포착하여 단계별로 조형물을 설치하였다. 현대를 살아가는 바쁜 우리들에게 나직한 울림을 주는 어린왕자의 음성에 귀 기울이고 그 여행에 동참해보길 권한다.

The Little Prince Theme Park is inspired by this line from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's fairy tale, The Little Prince. As you follow the sequence of the Little Prince's journey in the park, you will encounter key moments from his adventure, starting from his departure from asteroid B612 to his travels on Earth. You will meet the aviator who crash-lands in the desert and witness the Little Prince's process of forming a friendship with the fox, where he learns the value of relationships and the hidden wisdom of life, ultimately growing into adulthood. The park captures significant moments of the Little Prince's journey, including the realization of the importance of the one rose he left behind on his home planet, culminating in his departure back to his asteroid as an adult. It invites us, busy individuals of the modern world, to listen to the gentle echoes of the Little Prince's voice and to join him on his journey.
